Apex attachments

Max a weapon to unlock its Apex. It doesn't use one of your five attachment slots, so it's pure upside.

The Kastov ARC, Hyeon Hyperburst, Patriot XMR Volt, Type 73 Assault, Cronen Maelstrom, FiNN Adverse, APOC 338 Praetor, Oden Sentinel, Axion Reaver, VEL 46 Snap, Sang Breach, Rezi 12 Enforcer, and Warlord Lumen descriptions come from pre-launch notes. Their unlock levels match launch lists, but we haven't seen the effects confirmed yet.

The endgame loop

  1. Max a gunIts Apex attachment unlocks.
  2. Enter Weapon Prestige 1 → PyroclastThe gun resets to Lvl 1 and its attachments relock. The Apex stays unlocked.
  3. Level it back to max → Pyroclast TerminusSome guides call this one Pyroclast Verge.
  4. Prestige Master Lvl 150 / 250 → Scatter / CascadeThe long haul. This is where your Double Weapon XP tokens go.

Running in parallel: the Mastery ladder (Gold → Platinum → Harmonic Break → Divergence → Mastery). Pyroclast is separate from it and needs no challenges.

Pro move

Start Pyroclast with a pistol

The SANG 9mm and Krait P68 max out around weapon Lvl 38, versus about 72 for the top ARs. That's the fastest Pyroclast you'll get, and it shows you the whole prestige loop before you commit a main gun to it.
